AKTUALISASI KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PENDIDIKAN DASAR DI KABUPATEN GOWA

Abstract

Leadership is a process where a person can become a leader through continuous activity so that he can influence the one he leads, the leader should have more ability and intelligence than his subordinates in order to bring the organization he leads to achieve the goals effectively. Often we find members of an organization who arrive late, inefficient use of time for a work settlement, less work productivity, low achievement motivation, less participation in program implementation, and so on. Therefore this article will discuss the transformational leader who can bring good change, know the needs of his subordinates and can instill and strengthen aspects of organizational culture so that it will foster a strong commitment to each member. This article uses a type of qualitative descriptive research, and the topic under study is the actualization of transformational leadership in improving the quality of basic education in Gowa Regency. The data collection techniques carried out are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the application of transformational leadership types will facilitate the business of members of the organization in accelerating the capacity of stake holders in developing themselves, working smarter, and harder to create quality education so that innovative and targeted policies are created.
